A House for Hermit Crab
Today we read Eric Carle's A House for Hermit Crab. What a fun story about a crab who wants to make his new shell a little less boring. Lucky for us Mrs. Sambito and Ms. Thomas have a hermit crab in their classroom and allowed us to borrow him for the day. It was so exciting to watch him creep out and walk around. And just like the hermit crab in the story had a beautiful shell so does this one. :)

Love it. Carter was so excited as he was talking about the hermit crab and it's red shell. He loved how it would walk a bit and then hide in it's shell.
