Well the end of the school year is quickly approaching. We have really enjoyed all the children and the fun times we have had learning and laughing. Please join us for our end of the year awards on June 2 @ 9:15.
Well the last two months have been crazy busy and time has gotten ahead of me with posting. Here are some picture highlights of what we have been up to. These include Kevin Henkes Celebration, science, the garden, egg hunt, field trips, and time with friends!
Yes - it is that time in first grade for Sleepover. One iur favorite things is the at home project. This year we tried to include our theme of The Wizard of Oz by having the kids create a stuffed animal or pillow with that theme. Kids could make lions and tigers and bears - OH MY! Here is a look at our creations.
Monday was the 100th day of school. What a fun day. We did some fun 100 day activities and ate 100 snack goodies. Some of us also dressed as 100 year olds. To top it off we had our Readers to Leaders Bingo with Mrs. Phillips. What a great bonus for the day. We look forward to the next 80 days.
Even though it was a small group today we had a great time seeing Paddington. Thanks to Chase, Sophia, and Jackson for their donations to Promise To Kate Foundation in December. It was a lot of fun.
Welcome back everyone. We hope everyone had a great break. We look forward to getting back into the swing of school and finish out the second nine weeks. We have a busy 3rd nine weeks so get ready for some "oz"some upcoming events.
