Science is Everywhere!

What a Great Day!

Today was a great first day of school for all our new kindergarteners. What a busy day. We spent some time drawing and talking about our families, went to see a great band, practiced our drills, went on a scavenger hunt for Chester the Raccoon after hearing his book, had recess, and even started to make our Chester hats. Of course we didn't get to everything we wanted to do today (like posting the best part of the day) but we did manage to squeeze in our first day of kindergarten picture (which will be sent home later this week).

The highlight of our day was the group ktg entertainment which played many different genres of music for us. Check out their website. They played jazz, classical, disco, carribean, and even a song from Michael Jackson. Here are some picture highlights of the group.

Orientation was a Success

Thank you to all the families that joined us for orientation on Friday. We had a great turnout and I was glad to see all the excited faces on the kids. Mrs. Cordoza and I are very excited about our first day of school tomorrow. Check out the blog as we will post what each child said about his/her first day of school.
